Noise is Eating Me and I Couldn’t Resist

I feel bad. I’m stuck in my programming career.

… and it’s my fault.

Silent killer

I spent three years teaching. Teaching isn’t bad — it depends on what you teach. I was teaching beginners. Even though it was easy, explaining things to someone else is hard. So, I spent a lot of time on it.

But I never wanted to be a teacher.

I want to be an excellent programmer.

So, although it seemed like a good idea at the start, it set me back.

Nope, not like this

I kept debating whether I should learn to Go, Rust, .NET, TypeScript, or something else. So, I spent time learning Go, then switched to Rust, and so on.

Naturally, I couldn’t go deep into any technology.

Don’t be fooled

You can write bad code in any language, and you can also write beautiful code in any language. When you see someone who’s really good, their code looks beautiful, and it seems easy. But it’s not.

When you’re good at something, it just looks easy.

It’s like watching the Premier League in football. If someone looks bad there, it’s because everyone else is very good.
