Programming Inflation and the Value of My Time

We need to discuss some changes. I’ll be writing less often because I want to spend more time coding and less time writing. It’s time-consuming, and Medium only brings in about $50 a month, which is very little compared to what I can make at my job.

Why? Just look at the current market and YouTube. YouTubers are providing fully functional applications, so you can learn to make an app even if you don’t know much going in. This has led to significant “programming inflation.”

As you evolve, you have to keep moving forward.

I’m not giving up on writing entirely, as it’s a great way to summarize what I’ve learned or share ideas. But you can expect about two articles a week from now on.
