It is not the weight that burdens you, but how you carry it

Everyone carries a burden, whether they want to or not. These include significant issues and everyday moments and situations that tend to weigh us down — failure or the daily grind—the pressure of society or the struggle to be a little better off. There is always room to cultivate our approach.

It never matters as much what weighs us down, but rather how we carry it. Each of us has our unique mix of cells, emotions, and problems, and it is only with this mix that we can make a change in the world. First, however, we must feel good within it, and we can cultivate this by our approach to everyday things.

Every day we find ourselves in situations where we should practice being both a participant and an observer simultaneously

You know how it is. Sometimes emotions draw us into a situation so deeply that we don’t even realize we’re in a challenging situation and we just act on autopilot. When the emotions subside, we often comment with words like I don’t know what got into me! and we feel like it wasn’t us.
